Terms of Service — Forest Drive

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and NahomPromotion (“NahomPromotion,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of the standalone virtual reality game Forest Drive (application identifier com.nahompro.forestroadvr), any optional downloadable content (“DLC”), and our official website at https://forest-drive.nohtv.shop/.

By downloading, installing, launching, or using Forest Drive or this website, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. You must meet the minimum age requirements of the Meta Horizon platform and your jurisdiction (or have valid parent/legal guardian consent where required by law). Your use of the Meta Quest platform and the Meta Horizon Store is additionally subject to Meta Platforms, Inc.’s applicable terms of service and store rules.

2. Platform Requirements and VR Health & Safety

2.1 Compatible Hardware and Software

Forest Drive is designed for standalone Meta Quest headsets running Meta Horizon OS (Android 10 / API level 29 or newer), including Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, Meta Quest 2, and Meta Quest Pro. You are responsible for maintaining a compatible headset, sufficient local storage space, and a valid Meta Horizon account to download the game and verify store entitlements.

Optional USB steering-wheel support (such as the Logitech G29 Driving Force Racing Wheel) requires compatible external hardware, external 24V AC wheel power, and a compatible USB-C adapter or hub, all of which are sold separately by third-party manufacturers.

2.2 Virtual Reality Comfort, Force-Feedback, and Real-World Safety

• Seated Experience: Forest Drive is designed to be played while seated in a stable chair or racing cockpit inside a clear, safe indoor boundary.
• Motion Comfort: Virtual reality driving involves simulated vehicle movement, elevation changes, and turns. Stop playing immediately and rest if you experience dizziness, motion sickness, eye strain, disorientation, or discomfort.
• Force-Feedback Wheel Safety: If using a powered force-feedback steering wheel such as the Logitech G29, ensure the wheel is securely clamped to a stable desk or rig before connecting power, keep hands and fingers clear of the wheel spokes during its startup calibration spin, and use comfortable force levels.
• Simulation Only: Forest Drive is an entertainment simulation. Driving behaviors, speeds, and surface physics in the game must never be replicated in real-world driving. Never wear a VR headset while operating a real vehicle or heavy machinery.

3. Game License and Permitted Use

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and verification of a valid license through the Meta Horizon Store, NahomPromotion grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and play Forest Drive for your personal, non-commercial entertainment on compatible Meta Quest devices that you own or control.

Forest Drive and its optional add-ons are licensed, not sold. All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the game remain with NahomPromotion and its respective licensors.

4. Included Maps and Optional Purchased DLC

4.1 Optional Future DLC Expansions

NahomPromotion may offer optional downloadable map expansions (“DLC” or “Add-Ons”) as separate one-time purchases through the Meta Horizon Store. Optional future DLC is sold separately and is not required to play or complete any feature of the base game. Unreleased or planned expansions described on our website do not constitute a binding commitment to specific release dates or pricing.

4.2 DLC Entitlements, Installation, and Compatibility

• Purchased DLC add-ons require a valid base game license for Forest Drive on the same Meta Horizon account.
• DLC entitlements are verified through the Meta Horizon Platform SDK and cached locally on your headset with a signed offline grace window so you can enjoy downloaded expansions offline.
• You may delete downloaded DLC packages from your headset storage at any time via the in-game ADD-ON MAPS (DLC) manager (Remove Download) and re-download or restore them later via Restore Purchases, subject to continued availability on the Meta Horizon Store platform.

5. Store-Managed Payments and Refunds

All purchases of the Forest Drive base game and any optional DLC add-ons are processed directly by Meta Platforms, Inc. through the Meta Horizon Store checkout flow. NahomPromotion does not collect, process, or store your credit card or payment instrument details.

Refunds: Refund eligibility, request windows, and billing disputes for purchases made on the Meta Horizon Store are governed by Meta’s Content Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer refund rights under the laws of your jurisdiction. To request a refund for a Meta Horizon Store purchase, please use the purchase history section of the Meta Horizon mobile app or visit Meta Quest Help.

6. User Responsibilities and Prohibited Conduct

When using Forest Drive, its optional DLC, or this website, you agree not to:

• Bypass, disable, tamper with, or circumvent Meta Horizon Store entitlement verification, cryptographic DLC signature checks (HMAC-SHA256 / SHA-256), or other digital rights management controls;
• Copy, redistribute, pirate, sideload unauthorized copies of, rent, lease, or commercially exploit the game or its downloadable `.dlc` map archives;
• Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or extract proprietary source code or assets from the application, except to the limited extent such restriction is expressly prohibited by applicable law;
• Interfere with, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to forest-drive.nohtv.shop, nohtv.shop, or related server infrastructure.

7. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Trademarks

The Forest Drive name, logo, original code, custom shaders, audio mixes, route designs, UI layouts, and website content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws and are owned by or licensed to NahomPromotion. Third-party and open-source software components remain subject to their respective licenses.

8. Updates, Patches, and Third-Party Services

NahomPromotion may release patches, performance optimizations, or content updates from time to time. Certain updates may be required to maintain compatibility with Meta Horizon OS system updates or optional DLC packages.

Forest Drive and this website interact with third-party services (including Meta Horizon Platform services and, if activated on the website, YouTube’s embedded video player). NahomPromotion is not responsible for the availability, policies, or acts of third-party platforms or hardware manufacturers.

9. Warranty Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Forest Drive, its optional DLC, and this website are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement, or guarantees that the software will operate without interruption or be compatible with every third-party USB accessory configuration.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NahomPromotion shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages (including loss of data, loss of profits, or hardware damage resulting from improper mounting or use of third-party peripherals) arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use Forest Drive, and NahomPromotion’s total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the Forest Drive software and official DLC during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Mandatory Consumer Rights Preserved: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any mandatory consumer guarantee, statutory warranty, refund right, or liability (such as liability for fraud, gross negligence, or personal injury) that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws applicable in your country or state of residence.

10. Termination, Changes to Terms, and Publisher Contact

You may terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling Forest Drive and ceasing use of the website. Your license under these Terms will terminate automatically if you materially breach section 6 (such as by pirating the software or bypassing entitlement checks), subject to applicable law.

We may revise these Terms from time to time by posting the updated version at https://forest-drive.nohtv.shop/terms with an updated effective date. Continued use of the game or website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law. Where applicable law requires specific consumer notice, we will provide it.
